The Dahab Breakfast

Mornings here are slow. Most cafes offer a variation of the "Dahab Breakfast": eggs (often shakshuka style), hummus, falafel, labneh, and fresh bread, served with a view of the reef.

Fresh Seafood

Walk the promenade in the evening and you will see "catch of the day" displays. Pick your fish, agree on a price, and have it grilled Bedouin-style with rice and salad.

Respect the Vibe

"The unofficial drink of Sinai. Black tea brewed with "marmaraya" (desert sage) and plenty of sugar. It is offered as a sign of hospitality everywhere."
